Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to the questions we get most. Don't see yours? Get in touch. We'd rather talk through specifics than guess.

What is a day porter service?

A day porter is an onsite service team member who maintains your facility during business hours. Unlike nightly janitorial, which happens after everyone leaves, day porter service keeps restrooms stocked and sanitary, common areas tidy, trash manageable, and the property presentation-ready while tenants, guests, and clients are present.

What types of facilities do you serve?

We specialize in professional commercial properties: office buildings, medical clinics, law firms, luxury apartment communities, corporate HQs, and similar facilities where appearance, hygiene, and discretion matter throughout the day.

Do you provide consumable supplies?

No. All restroom and breakroom consumables (paper, soap, liners, and similar items) are client-provided. Green Pulse brings our own janitorial equipment and commercial cleaning chemicals so your porter arrives fully equipped to work.

How quickly can you review a proposal request?

We respond to new proposal requests in as little as one hour during business hours. A typical timeline from first contact to a signed agreement is one to two weeks, depending on how quickly we can complete a site walk.

Are your staff insured and background checked?

Every Green Pulse team member signs a confidentiality agreement (NDA) and clears a comprehensive background check before ever entering a client facility. We also carry $1M commercial umbrella insurance on every contract, and staff arrive uniformed with visible ID badges. Your privacy and safety are non-negotiable.

Do you offer recurring service agreements?

Yes. Our service model is built around 1-year service agreements with bi-weekly billing via ACH or card on file. Recurring structure is what lets us assign dedicated, trained staff to your property, not rotating subcontractors.

How is billing handled?

Bi-weekly billing via ACH or card on file. A consistent, predictable cadence that matches the consistency of the service itself.

Do you replace nightly janitorial?

Usually we complement it rather than replace it. Day porter service handles the during-hours needs your nightly team can't address. Some clients do consolidate both under Green Pulse, which we can discuss during the site walk.

What does onsite startup look like?

During the first week of service, leadership is onsite alongside the assigned porter to ensure scope alignment, train around the building's specifics, and confirm standards before regular service cadence begins.

Do you handle after-hours coverage?

Yes. Coverage can be scheduled during operating hours, after hours, or extended across a longer window. We shape the program around your facility’s rhythm.

We'll review your property, scope the right program, and follow up with a clear next step. No pressure, no generic pitch.
