Frequently asked questions

Answers

What is the difference between janitorial cleaning and day porter service?

Janitorial cleaning is scheduled recurring cleaning that resets the facility, usually in the evening or after hours. Day porter service is daytime facility support that keeps occupied spaces clean, stocked, and presentable. Combined coverage puts both under one scope and one accountable team.

Which facilities do you serve?

Office buildings, medical clinics (nonclinical areas), law firms, multifamily communities (common areas), hotels (public areas), corporate campuses and headquarters, multi tenant commercial buildings, financial institutions, biotech and pharmaceutical administrative areas, private schools, museums and cultural venues, and country clubs and private clubs throughout California.

Do you clean apartments or hotel guest rooms?

No. In multifamily communities we service common and management approved areas only. In hotels we service public areas and approved back of house common areas, not guest rooms.

What is valet trash and who qualifies?

Scheduled doorstep waste collection for multifamily communities, carried to the property's onsite disposal points on scheduled nights. It is available for qualifying communities and subject to site review of layout, access, disposal setup, and schedule.

Do you provide clinical or medical grade cleaning?

No. Our medical clinic scope covers waiting rooms, public restrooms, offices, administrative areas, and common areas. Clinical cleaning, infection control, terminal cleaning, and regulated waste remain with qualified clinical providers.

Do you serve my part of California?

Green Pulse serves professional properties throughout California. Availability is confirmed by property location, scope, schedule, and staffing requirements during qualification.

Do you publish prices or give instant quotes?

No. Every service plan is customized around the property's location, cleanable square footage, workload, schedule, service frequency, staffing requirements, and operating environment. After qualification and a walkthrough you receive a clearly documented recurring service proposal.

How is billing handled?

Billing every two weeks by ACH or card on file. Each invoice covers two service weeks.

What are the agreement terms?

A one year initial term that renews automatically unless either party gives 30 days written notice of nonrenewal. Pricing is reviewed when the facility or scope materially changes, and any change is documented in writing.

We manage several properties. Can one proposal cover all of them?

Yes. Tell us how many facilities you oversee in the proposal request and list the other properties. Each facility gets its own scope, site standards and inspection schedule, and you get one agreement, one point of contact, one consolidated invoice every two weeks, and portfolio pricing for accounts with two or more facilities.

Who provides supplies and equipment?

Green Pulse provides cleaning equipment and chemicals. Restroom and breakroom consumables such as paper, soap, and liners are client provided unless otherwise agreed in the proposal.

How quickly do you respond to a proposal request?

By the same or next business day. From first contact to a signed agreement is typically one to three weeks depending on walkthrough scheduling.

Are you insured and are your staff background checked?

Green Pulse carries $1M commercial umbrella insurance on every contract, and a certificate is available on request. Background checks are required for all field staff before assignment. Staff arrive uniformed and badged, follow written confidentiality expectations, and sign NDAs when your facility requires them.

How do you verify that staff actually showed up?

Every shift is clocked through our workforce app with location accountability at clock in and clock out, and task checklists are completed on the phone during each visit.

What does startup look like?

A field supervisor leads the first visits, confirms the scope on the floor, introduces the team to your staff, and signs off the standard with you. Supervisor inspections then continue on a recurring schedule.

Can you take over from our current vendor without a gap?

Yes. Start dates are coordinated with your current arrangement, and the walkthrough identifies anything the previous program missed so the first week starts from a documented baseline.
